Privacy Policy

Effective from 5 October 2026. Gerin is operated by KucLab (EU, heygerin.com).

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is KucLab, operator of the Gerin service at heygerin.com. Contact: the operator contact published on heygerin.com.

2. What data we process

• Email address (account identifier and sign-in).
• Conversations - your messages and the agent's replies.
• Files - files you upload and their metadata.
• Usage - message and token consumption statistics and subscription state.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Providing the Gerin service (account, conversations, files, usage metering) - legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Optional processing beyond the contract (e.g. product improvements based on your data) - legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Retention

We keep your data only for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes everything - see Account.

5. Your rights

• Access - download a full copy of your data at any time: Account → Export (right of access and portability).
• Rectification - correct inaccurate data via your account.
• Erasure - delete your entire account including all data: Account → Delete (right to erasure).
• Withdraw consent - revoke previously given consent at any time via your account or by contacting us.
• Restrict or object to processing - contact us and we will handle your request.

6. Contact and supervisory authority

For any privacy request contact the operator. If you believe your rights were violated, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (EU) - e.g. the data protection authority of your country of residence.
